You can ask us anything

The philosophy of the Preschool is founded on and shaped by Christian beliefs. We aim to provide a Christian environment for your child that is warm, caring and nurturing. Co-operation and sharing with other children is encouraged. We value the family and seek to be in partnership with you in caring for and educating your child. We welcome all families from the community.

The Management Committee sets a daily attendance fee according to the Preschool’s budgetary needs and taking into account anticipated State Government funding.

Fees are due at the beginning of each term and for 2016 have been set as follows:

  • $64 per day (for children who turn 4 on or before 31 July 2016)
  • $66 per day (for children who turn 4 after 31 July 2016)
  • Bond for 2 days is $792 and for 3 days is $1,152 and is payable upon acceptance of a place. The bond is refunded in the final term of preschool or when 6 weeks notice is given.
  • Waiting List fee of $35 (non-refundable)
  • Extended hours is offered at $8 per session

Government assistance is available for low income families and families with special needs. If you feel you may qualify for such assistance please approach the Director with your enquiry.

Learn through play

Through play children can develop social and cognitive skills, mature emotionally, and gain the self-confidence required to engage in new experiences and environments.

Toys & Games

Playing is important to children. It is the way they practice growing up. Toys are the tools children use in play.

Care & encouragement

Love, compassion & caring for each other is the "Cornerstone" to SCHOLARS.

Personal evaluation

Evaluating a child is a great way to find out how well the child is doing but also how commited we are as carers to providing what that child needs to develop more.

Physical Activities

Physical development includes outdoor play but it is more than just running, kicking and throwing. As carers we look for games which encourage a range of movements and help build strength, coordination and balance.

Snack Times

Learning about foods is as important today as it has ever been & "Snack" time is the best time to do it.
